Here at Inspire Fitness we have gathered a team of the most educated and experienced Personal Trainers in the United States.
Whether you are looking to lose weight, body-sculpt, improve performance in your favorite sport, or simply feel better about your health and fitness, we have the trainer for you.

Chad Kroll

Owner & Certified Personal Trainer

Chad is originally from Portland, Maine. He has always led an active lifestyle, and personal training is his life’s passion.

With over 20 years of experience in cities such as Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and now Austin, he has had the opportunity to change and inspire many lives.  He has vast experience in many facets of fitness, including the psychology of making life changes, weight loss, strength training, cardiovascular rehabilitation and routines, fitness and bodybuilding shows, pre-natal/post-partum fitness, aqua sessions, nutrition counseling, and injury rehabilitation.

His certifications include American Council on Exercise (ACE), National Health Club Association (NHCA), Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), and CPR/AED through American Red Cross.

He competed in the 2014 Adela Classic Bodybuilding competition (Light-Heavyweight division), and is an IFBB bodybuilding judge.

He enjoys working with all people to promote a healthy lifestyle and to assist them in achieving their personal goals.

Steve Juengert

Owner & Certified Personal Trainer

Steve grew up in Englewood, New Jersey.  He has a B.A. in psychology from the University of Illinois, where he also competed in varsity gymnastics, representing the U.S. in South Africa and Japan, and winning the Big-Ten conference championship on still rings in 1986.  Steve has also competed in the Men’s Lightweight bodybuilding division of the Texas State Naturals in 2011 and the Texas Shredder in 2012, placing 3rd in both contests.

Steve has been certified as a personal trainer by the American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.) since 1992, by the Equinox Fitness Training Institute Equistretch program (1996), P.A.C.E. (People with Arthritis Can Exercise) 2000, and has vast experience in flexibility and performance enhancement training, including contest prep for fitness competitors.  He specializes in Biomechanics and movement analysis.  He believes that functional training and calisthenics are excellent tools for achieving total fitness, regardless of age.

Steve enjoys playing tennis, basketball, 5-string banjo and piano in his spare time.

George Romiti

Owner & Certified Personal Trainer

George was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania. During his youth he played a wide variety of sports, and always kept active.

After initially pursuing a degree in law enforcement at Lackawanna College, George decided to take on a greater challenge by enrolling in the military.  After the difficult training was completed, he was immediately deployed to Iraq, where he spent the next three years.

As a Sargent, one of his most important mandates was maintaining the fitness level of his men to insure their success. After receiving an honorable discharge, George turned his attention to becoming a certified Personal Trainer.

George earned his certification from the Personal Fitness Training Association in Round Rock. George specializes in weight loss and muscular development.

His goal as a trainer is to share his expertise in order to empower his clients to achieve their individual fitness goals. “Pain is temporary. Pride is forever.”

Dave Goodin

Certified Personal Trainer

Dave Goodin, known in the bodybuilding world as the Texas Shredder, was born in Victoria, Texas. He is an IFBB Pro Bodybuilder, the promoter/director of the Texas Shredder Classic IFBB and NPC Bodybuilding Contests in Austin, and a regular columnist for Iron Man Magazine.

After graduating from the University of Texas with a B.S. in Physical Education, and a M.Ed. in Exercise Physiology, Dave taught and coached in Texas public schools for 9 years.

Dave joined a gym after graduation and has been competing in bodybuilding competitions since 1983.  He has won 3 state, and 9 international titles in drug-free bodybuilding.  He has also won 5 state and 1 national title in powerlifting, and briefly held a drug-free world record.

Dave started his personal training career in 1994, and has successfully worked with clients of all fitness levels, from complete beginners who are just trying to get into shape, to world-class physique athletes who want to excel in their chosen field.

Dave enjoys playing guitar and singing, and spending time with his two daughters.

Cathy Dunford

Certified Personal Trainer

Cathy  relocated from San Diego, California to Austin, Texas.  She has a “whole person” approach to wellness and believes that every aspect of the individual is required to become engaged in the process of wellness in order to achieve personal greatness.  She believes that it is on the razor’s edge of uncertainty and discomfort that all of the “magic” happens.

Cathy’s achievements include keeping her sanity through 26 years of marriage, 5 children, two dogs, and a host of other creatures and kids, while also running 20 marathons and miraculously managing to see the finish line of the prestigious Boston Marathon TWICE! (so far!) She is a certified personal trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC) through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Cathy’s passion is people and she is driven to improve quality of life, functionality, and athletic performance through the careful execution of meaningful self-care and targeted exercise modalities tailored to the needs of the individual.

Brooke Pederson

Licensed Massage Therapist & Certified Personal Trainer

Brooke was born and raised in Texas.  She grew up with a passion for dance and was trained in ballet, lyrical, tap, jazz and contemporary.

Through this training she became aware of the importance of massage therapy for overall health.  She received her education in massage from the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in Austin, Texas in 2007.  Brooke is trained in hot stone, chair massage, myofacial release, sports massage, Swedish, and the Lauterstein deep tissue technique.

Brooke is also a licensed Aesthetician.  Brooke further expanded her expertise in human health after joining Inspire Fitness.  She is now a certified personal trainer as well.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her three children and many pets.

Cynthia Reed

Certified Personal Trainer

Cynthia is originally from Lynchburg, VA and relocated to Texas in 1994.  She has an Associates Degree in Medical Assisting and worked in the health care industry for almost 20 years.  In 2010 she decided to make a change to be healthier and lost over 50 pounds.  She learned quickly that her journey involved so much more than losing weight, and was truly about making a lifestyle change.  She did not know at the time that she was inspiring others around her to do the same. She has embraced her calling and desire to help those around her take a leap of faith to join her on this journey for a healthier life. She enjoys helping others break barriers and discovering their inner strength.  Her approach is to help determine what causes a client to have setbacks and find ways to choose healthier alternatives all while developing new habits.  We learn together and become better together.

Cynthia has two sons and a dog named Slippers.  She enjoys reading, music, spending time with friends and family, and riding her Trike.


Kristie Kwan

Certified Personal Trainer

Kristie was born and raised in Texas.  She has her Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University. Her first priority has always been her family and she has been blessed with the opportunity to stay home and raise her three children over the past 11 years.  She has always been passionate about Health and Fitness.  After 20 + years she decided to go after her dream of becoming a Personal Trainer.  She loves encouraging people and creating personalized weight training exercises to meet each individual’s goals. Whether it’s “toning up”, training for an event, losing that last 5-10 pounds, or losing much more to regain a healthy heart, Kristie is here to help. She believes health starts from within and is excited to begin this journey with you.  Her certifications include American Council on Exercise (ACE), and CPR/AED through the American Health Academy.

Kristie loves being a wife and a mother to boy/girl twins and a younger son, as well as their fur-baby, named Bruiser!  She enjoys working out, traveling, cooking, spending time with family and friends, & relaxing in her back yard.


Jamie Armstrong

Certified Personal Trainer

Jamie is certified as a Personal Trainer by the American Council on exercise (ACE).  She was born and raised in Austin and has a B.A. in marketing from Texas Tech University.

Jamie has always led an active lifestyle and she thrives on the healthful benefits that a good workout and proper nutrition provide.  To Jamie there is nothing more precious than the relationships we develop with those around us and she is deeply passionate about helping others reach their fitness goals.  She is a mother of three children and enjoys spending time at the lake, swimming, snow skiing, hiking and doing other outdoor activities with her husband and kids.



Ginny Haynes

Certified Personal Trainer

Ginny was born in Louisiana, raised in Wisconsin and now resides in Liberty Hill, Texas with her husband, Larry. She has two grown sons with families of their own. One daughter, who is newly married in 2017.

Ginny has always enjoyed working out and strives to live a healthy lifestyle. Ginny is passionate about helping others reach their fitness goals and she became a Certified Personal Trainer in 2017.

Ginny enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, crocheting, and traveling with her sisters.


Justin Thompson


Justin was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. While growing up he was involved in USA Amateur Boxing. He competed in the 152lb Welterweight division, and worked along side Pro Boxers such as Jesse James Leija and Tony “The Black Stallion” Adeniran. Justin relocated to Austin two years ago with his wife and two sons.

He became certified through Michael Boyle’s CFSC program and became a Certified Functional Strength Coach. After which he worked with athletes in the central Austin area. Improving vertical jump, change of direction, and speed.

His passion is consuming and processing information in order to implement it into his training, despite what you are training for and what your limitations may be. Justin is committed to helping you prevent injury, improve mobility, stability, and increase performance. He believes it is never too late to make the rest of your life the best of your life, regardless of age.
